A trusted resource for the early childhood education and care sector

The ELA Resource Guide is aligned with the latest funding and government grants.

Early Learning Australia is a dynamic consultancy firm born out of the urgent need for change and reform in Australia’s early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector.

We work to empower ECEC centres by connecting them with essential resources, trusted suppliers, and crucial funding opportunities, all while advocating for positive transformation and strengthening the sector as a whole.

Aligned with the latest government grants and funding initiatives, we work closely with ECEC centres to guide them through the complexities of available funding and ensure these resources are allocated for growth and operational efficiency.

Our mission is to empower directors, centre managers, and key decision-makers with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions that strengthen their financial stability, improve quality of care, and drive long-term success.

By facilitating connections with reputable suppliers offering tailored products and services, we help institutions maximise their funding potential and elevate the standards of ECEC across Australia.

At Early Learning Australia, we are dedicated to empowering the sector to succeed in an era of change and growth, ensuring that our most important asset—our children—are given the foundation they need to thrive safely and securely.

Immediate action required in ECEC

As of March 2025, the ongoing concerns raised by the ABC Four Corners investigation and the subsequent NSW parliamentary inquiry highlight the critical need for reform within the early childhood education and care (ECEC) system with findings that up to 47,000 children are registered in for-profit long daycare centres failing national quality standards.

With troubling revelations of staff shortages, weak regulations, and jeopardised child safety, it has become increasingly clear that immediate action is required to protect vulnerable children.

Why Early Learning Australia is vital

Early Learning Australia plays a pivotal role in supporting the sector at this critical juncture by providing much-needed guidance on navigating complex funding opportunities and connecting institutions with trusted suppliers.

The sector urgently requires these resources to improve operational efficiency, meet regulatory standards, and invest in the necessary workforce to ensure safety and quality of care.

By empowering ECEC centres with the knowledge and tools to effectively utilise available funding and partner with reputable suppliers, Early Learning Australia is helping safeguard the future of early childhood education in Australia, ensuring that the well-being of young children is prioritised and the sector is strengthened for years to come.
